Knowledge Transfer Series (KTS)

Resources on topical clinical subjects, such as immunization, are developed collaboratively with the international scientific community and regional experts, keeping the content relevant to local healthcare professionals.

Each series includes accredited learning, publications, videos from expert physicians and practical resources, available on a convenient online platform.

KTS is currently available in Australia, Canada, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, United Kingdom, The United States and expanding to more countries soon.

Clinical eAudits

Clinical eAudits

Our patient health management program allows physicians to complete accredited learning, directly apply knowledge to their practice and measure improved patient outcomes.

We work with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) providers to help physicians identify patients who would benefit from specific advancement in treatment. Clinical eAudits are currently available in Australia and to select groups of physicians in Canada.

Kirk Fergusson

With more than 25 years of experience in marketing, healthcare and information technology, Kirk Fergusson serves as Managing Director for mdBriefCase Group; in this capacity, he oversees the organization’s sales activities in Canada, as well as all operational (e.g. IT, project management, administration, marketing) activities for mdBriefCase Group globally.

Prior to joining mdBriefCase Group, Kirk led business development and sales efforts throughout Canada and the United States for various innovative software firms. Before that, Kirk held senior roles with Canada Health Infoway, TELUS, CADTH, Cossette and various federal government departments.

Kirk holds a BA degree from the University of Waterloo as well as an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Suzanne has worked within or provided services to the Australian pharmaceutical sector for 18 years. She has an extensive understanding of the industry’s product lifecycle management and the regulatory framework it operates within.

Suzanne has a passion for developing commercial opportunities within healthcare. At Reed Elsevier Suzanne was responsible for the Healthcare group. Over 10 years she transformed the business, driving growth through new initiatives and business models. Her ability to engage the pharmaceutical industry was central to the success of these initiatives.

Over the past 13 years, David has dedicated his time to the Canadian healthcare market, launching and running communications and technology services for the pharma and healthcare professional community. As Senior Vice President of mdBriefCase Group, David spent 2 years managing a joint venture that established the largest online healthcare communications portal in Canada. David spent the next 7 years managing and developing digital and medical education strategies and programs across Canada. Currently, his energies are focused on taking mdBriefCase Group’s proven online CME platform into new markets around the world.

Janet Kimura

Janet Kimura is Senior Vice President at mdBriefCase Group, leading the company’s Strategic Initiatives and Business Development team. She is an experienced eLearning, marketing and sales professional with a career spanning over 19 years and whose achievements include a variety of industry-leading Continuing Health Education and online health initiatives for private, public and not-for-profit partners in Canada.

She has managed strategic partner relationships and initiatives for key Canadian medical societies, associations and hospitals, helping secure sponsorships and grants year after year to create leading Canadian online programs with proven sustained behaviour change results.

Janet is currently leading the growth and international expansion of AdvancingPractice.com, a global education platform offering healthcare professionals certificate level, in-depth programs designed to maintain, expand and advance their practice.

Nick brings 20 years of unique sales and marketing experience in the healthcare industry. As a senior strategic marketing leader, he has directed marketing team franchises at major pharmaceutical companies, resulting in the successful launch of multiple complex global projects. Most recently, he was responsible for marketing and strategic direction at AstraZeneca, spearheading the development of initiatives for maximizing long term revenue and ensuring the alignment of Canadian franchises with global initiatives and resources.
